The full name of the titanium electrode is called titanium-based metal oxide coated anode (MMO). Also called DSA anode, dimensional shape stability anode.
Iridium-tantalum-coated titanium electrode is an oxygen evolution reaction electrode, which plays a vital role in the electrolysis of non-ferrous metals, the electroplating industry, and electrochemical reduction to produce organic matter.
In the electrode of iridium tantalum coating, iridium is a strong antioxidant, tantalum is a stabilizer (different from ruthenium, iridium, platinum, and palladium, tantalum is a base metal), the two are oxidized in proportion, we call it iridium tantalum coating.
